Aditya Prakash - Graduate Student

I obtained my B.S from Emory University. Broadly, I am interested in the intersections between vision, attention, and memory. My current projects focus on how distractor information is represented and subsequently avoided during visual search. 

Kaitlyn Drennan - Graduate Student

Before coming to Iowa, I graduated from Binghamton University with a B.S. in Integrative Neuroscience and completed a 2-year post-bacc position at the University of Missouri studying distractor suppression. I am broadly interested in the interactions between visual attention/working memory and my current research focuses on attentional guidance; specifically, how guidance signals from differing sources are prioritized during visual search.

Mike Paavola - Graduate Student (Moore Lab)

I completed my undergraduate degree at North Dakota State University in Psychology and Neuroscience and my Master's at King's College London in Applied Neuroscience.  My research is focused on perceiving and interacting with visual objects. In addition, I am interested in how our perceptions of and interactions with objects are structured by three-dimensional space.

Zexuan Niu

Zexuan finished his Ph.D. in 2026. He is now completing a postdoc in Brad Postle's lab at Wisconsin.
