Before coming to Uiowa, I obtained both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Psychology from Peking University.  My research is focused on attention and visual working memory. Specifically, the key question of my research is how different sources of information, from both surrounding environments and internal goals, are coordinated to guide behavior.

Aditya Prakash - Graduate Student

I obtained my B.S from Emory University. Broadly, I am interested in the intersections between vision, attention, and memory. My current projects focus on how distractor information is represented and subsequently avoided during visual search.

Mike Paavola

I completed my undergraduate degree at North Dakota State University in Psychology and Neuroscience and my Master's at King's College London in Applied Neuroscience.  My research is focused on perceiving and interacting with visual objects. In addition, I am interested in how our perceptions of and interactions with objects are structured by three-dimensional space.
